Support & FAQ
How much does SellUp cost?
SellUp is Free which includes 1 upsell. SellUp Pro costs just $14.99 a month and allows you to create UNLIMITED upsells (think of the possibilities!). With the increase in conversions and sales from cross-sells & up-sells, it will more than likely pay for itself every month.
I have setup SellUp but it isn't displaying?
SellUp is designed to work with most themes out of the box. If you have checked settings and it should be showing but isn’t, you may have a custom theme.
Make sure you have checked all SellUp settings and that the “Global” SellUp button is enabled as well as the individual offer’s visibility setting.
If you would like assistance, simply send us a message and we will help you.
SellUp is showing but not where I want it?
There is a setting in SellUp Global Settings to where it will display. We have set the best setting as default for most stores but you can change the location setting to be above or below the add to cart box.
If you aren’t comfortable and would like assistance, simply send us a message and we will help you.
How do I create an upsell?
Creating your first upsell is easy.
Click the create upsell button within the app.
You will see the following page:
Then just follow these steps:
- Pick a name. This is internal only and for you reference. If you have 50 upsells active, naming can help you easily identify!
- Select a lead product. This is the product where you want the upsell to display. When a customer is looking at this product, they will be offered whatever you select in the next step as upsell!
- Upsell Product. These are the products you offer as upsells. Customers will be able to easily add these to their cart. If the product you choose to offer as an upsell has variants, you need to select the actual variant to offer. This is because upsells are impulsive by nature so you want to remove the paradox of choice!
- Product Title. By default, the product title will be used. If you want to make the upsell a “Call to action” or CTA then you can change it here. An example would be where you have a coffee machine for sale and a filter is the upsell. Rather than it just being “Deluxe 3pk of Coffee Filters” you could change this to “Add some extra filters?”. This will invite the customer to add the upsell to the cart.
To edit how upsells visually appear, just visit the global settings button.
Notes: For point 2, there is “Switch to collection mode“. This would be used to offer the upsells you select in step 3 on all products within a collection you select in step 2 when collection mode is active.
How do I style SellUp?
Styling SellUp is simple. We have designed it to inherit your themes settings but you can tweak individual settings from the SellUp global settings.
